According to this article on the BBC, tsunami victims in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands received some "ridiculous" cheques, as tsunami relief, from the Indian government. The one that takes the cake is a cheque for the sum of Rs.2 !

The island administration has said that it is now probing the incident.
