Discovery of the day....
...was Tilotamma's blog. I loved some of the posts that she had made and it led me to dig up a lot of posts from the archives.
Not only were the posts informative, but also the comments on the posts were hilarious(like the "Ramayana pic" post).
Some info bytes that I got from Tilotamma's blog:
1. The origin of the Starbucks "Siren" logo
2. The secrets of the FedEx logo
3. Poems of "Love and War" by A.K.Ramanujan (looked up Kuruntokai 27 which figures in the 'Theendai mei theendai' song in 'En Swasa Kaatre')
4. Senthalir and Sharanya, two minor planets in our Solar System. Also school students from Avila, Coimbatore
5. Barbers and Surgeons
All in all, a very productive morning(not something my boss would have approved of, though) ! :)

Was going through Ramesh Mahadevan's stories when I realised that it was time to call it a day !
Oh BTW Tilotamma, did you see "Omar Mukthar" at Mapillai Vinayagar ?
I was trying hard to recall the name of the theatre and then finally I got it.
Probably - not 100 % sure but I love that name and I will see that must be it.
Do you remember that scene from "Mudhal Mariyadhai"?
Janakraj - na mapilla vinayagar padam vangaa ponnen. vinayagar padam kedaikalla - nmba mapillai padam than kedaichudu....

Kinda. Is that where Janakaraj shows Vadivukarasi the snap with Sivaji and Radha ?
BTW, great memory you got there ! To associate this maapillai vinayakar with that one ! :)
